Fairview 41-11 responds mutual aid to Poughkeepsie FD
Posted On: Jan 20, 2015

Just before midnight, City of Poughkeepsie FD was dispatched for a possible structure fire at 48 Parker Ave. Shortly after arrival, Poughkeepsie struck the 10-75, confirming a working fire and bringing Arlington 32-52 as a FAST. Shortly afterwards, it was upgraded to a second alarm, bringing in aid from Roosevelt, Arlington, and New Hamburg fire departments to backfill PFDs stations. At 0019 hrs, Poughkeepsie command reported they were putting 32-52s crew to work, and requested Fairview 41-11 as a FAST. Within a matter of minutes, Fairview's firefighters arrived on the scene and were ready to assist in any way necessary. With the expectancy of being at the scene for some time, a 10-35 was transmitted, bringing off-duty Fairview members back to cover FFD while the night crew assisted the city.

This is an ongoing incident, further information will be included when available.
