Fairview Fire District has staffed additional field units in order to properly respond to Hurricane-Related incidents. Dutchess County 911 is currently using a priority dispacthing system, meaning that they will dispatch emergencies that are immeditely dangerous to life and property. Non-emergent calls fopr service will be forwarded to fire departments as needed.
Due to anticipated high call volumes, hazarous weather conditions, and proritization of alarms, we will be responding to calls for service as they come in. Rest assured, we will be there to help you.
As the weather becomes worse, we urge all residents to stay indoors, and to call 911 ONLY if a TRUE EMERGENCY EXISTS.
