Auto Accident with Extrication

12/13/2010 HYDE PARK, NY- At 12:08PM, Fairview Firefighters were dispatched to an Auto Accident at the corner of West Dorsey Lane and Yates Ave. in the Town of Hyde Park. Upon arrival, Firefighters found a 2 car collision with one subject still in the vehicle. Firefighters worked in two teams, one providing Emergency Medical Care, and the other commencing extrication of the victim. Hydraulic extrication tools were used to free the subject from the vehicle. Mobile Life Support Services transported one subject to Saint Francis Hospital. Units were clear at 12:53. Hyde Park Police also responded.
