We would like to welcome to the ranks of the career staff at the Fairview Fire District, Probationary Firefighter Joseph Tompkins. Probationary Firefighter Joe Tompkins started his training this past Monday, February 24, 2014 and will be attending the required Probationary Firefighter Recruit class at the New York State Academy of Fire Sciences in Montour Falls, NY on March 2, 2014 for ten weeks.
We also would like to congratulate Timothy O'Connor to his promotion to position of Lieutenant today as they both start on the journey down their separate career paths. Lt. O'Connor is a thirteen and a half year veteran of the Fairview Fire District and will be a welcomed asset to to the leadership staff of the district.
